Masterpiece Pay-per-click Campaigns
Shopping for pay-per-click services is like shopping for art. On one level, someone could look at the simplicity of the PPC platforms, and walk away with the same thought that most people have after looking at a Jackson Pollock painting:
“My kid could do that!”
Yet despite the simplicity of the platforms, many still pay good money for Pay-per-click services that they could probably do themselves.
While most people with basic computer skills can probably set up a working pay-per-click campaign, this doesn’t mean their campaign dollars will be ever reach their full potential.
We believe that a truly successful pay-per-click campaign is a thing of beauty. Like many who look at a painting and walk away perplexed saying, “I don’t get it,” most people haven’t been trained to understand what makes a good campaign.
Four Elements of a PPC Masterpiece
1. The campaign should pay for itself

Anyone can set up a pay-per-click campaign that gets some results. If you give me $1,000, I bet I can get you thousands of clicks to your website and mountains of data. I bet I can then sell this data as “results,” to those who won’t look any further into the results. I have heard many stories of people who have paid for pay-per-click services, and the vendors delivered clicks. Sorry, my kid could do that!
I will only agree to create a campaign where we design a self-sustaining system that pays for itself within the first $50 of budgeted funds. If you can’t create a system where clicks turn into leads that turn into sales with $50, then you are doing it wrong. Once the campaign is paying for itself, you can then feed it a bigger budget.
2. Blank Canvas Keyword Markets
All artists have something that sets their style apart from others. The ability to find untapped keyword markets for your campaign is my specialty. 3. A Campaign is More Than Clicks
A good campaign targets the right keyword and get clicks. But, a good campaign also requires refined ad copy, persuasive sales copy, flawless technological integration, and a prophetic contemplation of data engineering that will lead to meaningful analytics.
4. Value Increases With Age
The value of an effective campaign will become increasingly evident over time as the costs-per-click decrease, conversions increase, and revenue growth provides the resources to perpetually grow the campaign.
